TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Use of the services of Sarah’s Pet Care will be deemed as acceptance of the following Terms & Conditions.
Sarah’s Pet Care will meet the client to determine the nature of the services required, quote the price for these services and talk through the Terms and Conditions.
The client will be required to complete and sign a booking form giving full details of all pets involved prior to commencement of the contract. Once the booking form has been completed and signed a commencement date will be confirmed. This information will not be disclosed to any third party and all data, keys or key codes will be stored securely.
Clients must ensure access is available to properties as charges will still apply if Sarah’s Pet Care team cannot gain access to a property.
All of Sarah’s Pet Care team must be treated with respect. Behaviour deemed to be inappropriate will result in an immediate termination of the contract with Sarah’s Pet Care.
Dogs must be able to travel in our secure crates. Sarah’s Pet Care will ensure that dogs travel with suitable companions.
By law, all dogs must wear a collar with an identity tag, clearly stating the owners’ details and be microchipped. Failure to comply may result in your dog not being walked. Collars or harnesses must be left by the point of entry.
Sarah’s Pet Care reserves the right to refuse services for bitches in season and unneutered dogs from the age of one if an alternative solo walk cannot be provided.
The client must inform Sarah’s Pet Care immediately of any aggressive or dangerous behaviours their dog(s) may exhibit.
No dog will be allowed to continue with group walks if it exhibits aggressions towards a member of Sarah’s Pet Care team or towards another dog(s).
The client agrees that their dog(s) are fit, healthy and capable of play and exercise. Any changes or alterations to a dogs’ activity level must be notified to Sarah’s Pet Care immediately.
The client must provide up to date copies of all vaccination records and accept that dogs vaccinated against kennel cough can still contract a strain of the virus. Sarah’s Pet Care will not be responsible if your dog(s) does contract kennel cough.
The client agrees to regular treatment for worms, ticks and fleas of all your pets in our care. Failure to do so will result in your dog(s) not being walked by Sarah’s Pet Care.
Should your dog(s) show signs of diarrhoea you must inform Sarah’s Pet Care before the next scheduled walk. The dog(s) will not be able to attend group walks until the symptoms have cleared for a minimum of 24 hours.
In the event of any problems or emergencies, Sarah’s Pet Care will immediately contact the client or the clients nominated representative.
In the event of a pet becoming ill, Sarah’s Pet Care retains the right to contact the client’s vets directly. The client will be responsible for any costs incurred.
During hot weather periods, Sarah’s Pet Care reserves the right to either cancel dog walks or make alterations for example, bringing walks forward or offering a drop-in service instead. Sarah’s Pet Care will endeavour to advise the client of a change to timings and duration of time with your pet.
Sarah’s Pet Care will leave your property securely locked and accepts no responsibility for any loss of personal items or damage to the property during the time of the agreement or if any other individuals have access to the property.
Sarah’s Pet Care will ensure your dog(s) has been left as the owner has requested and will not be responsible for dogs left unsupervised in unsecured properties or gardens.
Full payment is required during or on completion of the contract depending on the nature of the services provided. A deposit will be required for new clients.
Weekend and Bank Holiday working will incur and additional charge, discussed at the time of booking.
Late cancellations, less than 48 hours before schedule booking, will incur a 100% charge on all services unless the slot can be filled.
